Leonardo is a series of 3 digital paintings made by artist Steve Bayard on ProCreate in 2021 in Berlin inspired by the masterpieces of Leonardo Da Vinci.
The project includes 3 portraits of women (La Dame à l’Hermine, Ginevra de Benci, Mary Magdalene) and was originally designed to be printed on metal and on Plexiglas.
However, due to the economic situation in Germany and the price of materials for this project, the artist resigned himself to doing it first in digital form since the first works appeared at the same time as the launch of the new marketplace of 4ART for the 4ARTNFT+ which greatly influenced his finish.
Indeed, the first three images are in a very dark tone with areas that may make you think of a cell created by heating a metal plate with a blowtorch, while the fourth image of this collection will really set the tone very colorful as well as an always very amusing touch that can also be found in the creations made by the artist that will follow.
Finally, the printed version was released on November 13, and then, as an NFT version on December 29, published by the artist during the winter of the year 2021.
